Post Filter Element Looks Smashed

Why does the post-filter element in my fuel system with a Brushless Gear Pump look all
smashed?

A clogged filter can cause excessive pressure outside the element, deforming it and disrupting flow. This can lead to engine lean-out and pump damage. Properly sized and maintained filters are critical in high-flow systems to minimize restriction. For more details, ask for a Tech.
