340 Stealth Pump Not Turning On / Making Pressure
I purchased and installed a 340 Stealth Pump and It appears that the pump is either not turning on and pumping fuel/making pressure, or it is underperforming when the engine goes under load. Could it be defective? What can I do to solve the problem?
Aeromotive ensures every 340 Stealth Pump is thoroughly tested for flow, pressure, and current draw before shipping. While issues are rare, most performance problems stem from installation errors. If the pump fails or underperforms, follow these steps:
1. Verify vehicle compatibility and proper installation using the application guide and instructions.
2. Check wiring for adequacy, correct polarity, and proper pump rotation.
3. Ensure the vapor purge port is unobstructed.
4. Confirm the filter is clean, debris-free, and flows adequately.
5. Contact Aeromotive Tech Support for assistance or to request a Return Goods Authorization (RGA).
Aeromotive offers free testing and warranty inspections but requires pumps to be returned directly to them, not the point of purchase. For help, ask for a Tech.
