340 Stealth Pump / Upgrade OEM Wiring

I heard that to use the 340 Stealth Pump you have to upgrade the OEM factory fuel pump wiring, and possibly the relay and fuse/breaker, is this true and why?

The wiring for the 340 Stealth Fuel Pump is critical to its performance, as it supports the motor's torque and speed needed for high flow. Factory wiring, relays, and fuses were designed for pumps drawing much less current. Without upgrades, the 340 Stealth’s performance may suffer significantly.

The 340 Stealth flows 33% more than conventional performance pumps and up to 300% more than many OEM pumps. To ensure proper performance and longevity, follow the installation instructions, including the flow/current chart and wiring recommendations.
