Waterman Racing : Silicone Lube How To

It is our recommendation that the fuel pumps be removed from the cars each week and completely lubricated with the Silicon Lube that is provided with all new fuel pumps.


Lubricating
1)    Remove fuel pump from its mount.

2)    Turn the fuel pump upside down and turn the drive shaft clockwise to flush out any remaining fuel.

3)    Squeeze some lube into the inlet port on the body of the fuel pump.

4)    As you are adding the lube, turn the drive shaft clockwise again. You should start to feel the pump free up as you are performing this step.

Cap off the fuel pump or re-install it on the car
