In 1967, Sid Waterman founded Waterman Racing Engines (WRE), which became known for working with top drag racing stars like Don Garlits, Shirley Muldowney, and Bob Glidden. In 1979, Sid sold the engine-building part of the business and launched Waterman Racing Components (WRC), specializing in fuel delivery systems. WRC continues to lead in the industry, serving drag racers as well as customers in Indy, NASCAR, and USAC. In 1994, Steve Matusek founded Aeromotive, leveraging his aerospace background to apply advanced materials and processes to the racing industry. Aeromotive’s first products were a Fuel Rail Mount Regulator and the A1000 fuel pump, and the company is dedicated to producing the highest-quality fuel delivery systems.
